With more than 30 years in the entertainment industry, Tim Cody has built an incredibly diverse career spanning stunts, film, television, live performance and musical theatre across Australia and North America.

Long before working behind the wheel, Tim began his professional career as a singer, dancer and actor, with an extensive background performing on stage. After training and working as a dancer for many years, his career took him around Australia and internationally, performing aboard Princess Cruises, at Universal Studios Japan and Warner Bros. Movie World, before joining the original international cast of the hit musical We Will Rock You, performing throughout Australia and Japan.

That performance background continues to influence the way Tim approaches stunt work and driving today.

Years spent singing, dancing and acting professionally developed a deep understanding of timing, choreography, spatial awareness, repetition, storytelling and performing under pressure, skills that translate remarkably well to executing action for camera.

Tim eventually transitioned his performance career into the stunt industry, becoming a stunt performer, specialist driver and Australian MEAA Graded Stunt Coordinator. His career has since seen him work extensively across Australia and North America on major international film and television productions.

After moving to Toronto, Canada in 2012, Tim became an active member of the Canadian stunt community. It was during this time that fellow stunt performers began approaching him to help develop their skills and confidence behind the wheel.

Those requests led Tim to establish Stunt Driving Clinic in Toronto in 2014.

What began as sharing knowledge between stunt performers developed into something Tim became incredibly passionate about, coaching, mentoring and helping performers discover abilities they didn't necessarily know they had.

Tim's philosophy around stunt driving is that performing the manoeuvre is only one part of becoming a professional screen driver.

A great stunt driver needs to understand performance, camera, timing, marks, choreography, continuity, communication and repeatability. They need to be able to listen to direction, adapt quickly and deliver the required action safely and consistently, take after take.

Tim brings the perspective of someone who has experienced vehicle action from multiple sides of the filmmaking process, as a performer behind the wheel, a Stunt Coordinator designing and overseeing the action, and as a 2nd Unit and Vehicle Unit leader working with directors, camera departments and production to bring those sequences to the screen.

After more than a decade living and working in Canada, Tim returned home to Australia and brought SDC with him.

For Tim, SDC isn't about demonstrating what the instructors can do. It's about discovering what the students can do.

His coaching combines more than three decades of professional performance experience with the lessons he has learned throughout his stunt career, including the successes, mistakes and hard-earned lessons that can only come from experience.

Tim's goal with SDC is to create an environment where performers can safely challenge themselves, ask questions, make mistakes, build confidence and push beyond what they thought they were capable of.

Ultimately, he wants to develop safer, smarter, more confident and more employable stunt drivers who understand that the job isn't simply about making a car go sideways.

Eugene Arendsen is a highly experienced specialist stunt and precision driver, professional driver trainer and vehicle development expert, with more than 15 years dedicated to performance driving, drifting, driver education and specialist vehicle development.

His film career includes vehicle and stunt driving on some of the world's largest action productions, including Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa, The Suicide Squad, Blacklight, The Wrecking Crew, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Mongoose and Runner.

Eugene has doubled actors including Nicholas Hoult and Liam Neeson, and has operated everything from high-performance hero cars and motorcycles to military vehicles, specialist rigs and custom-built 6x6 vehicles. His screen experience encompasses high-speed pursuits, drifting, close-proximity vehicle choreography, off-road driving, tactical convoys and technically complex multi-vehicle sequences.

Outside of film production, Eugene is the founder and owner of On Track Drift, established in 2009. As its lead instructor, he has spent more than 15 years teaching advanced car control, drifting, vehicle dynamics and driver safety to students ranging from first-time participants through to professional-level drivers.

His experience extends well beyond the driver's seat. Eugene builds, modifies, tests and develops specialist race, drift and stunt vehicles through his dedicated workshop, giving him an exceptional understanding of vehicle dynamics, setup and mechanical behaviour, knowledge he brings directly into his instruction.

Eugene's live-performance career is equally extensive. As a driver with Hollywood Stunt Driver at Warner Bros. Movie World, he performed two-wheeling, four-car figure-eight crossovers, J-turns, 360° spins, drifting and vehicle jumps, while also contributing to vehicle setup, safety procedures and show calling. He has also trained stunt drivers internationally, including for Movie Animation Park Studios in Malaysia, and performed throughout Australia with the Isuzu D-MAX Stunt Team, Monster Trucks and major motorsport events.

A highly accomplished competitive driver, Eugene has secured multiple wins across Australian drift and time-attack competition, including the Queensland Drift Series, NSW Drift Series, Stadium Drift and Raceline Pro Tour, as well as achieving 3rd place at World Time Attack.

As Lead Stunt Driving Instructor, Eugene combines professional film experience, elite-level car control, mechanical knowledge and more than a decade of driver training to teach something far more important than simply performing a manoeuvre.

His focus is on developing safe, controlled, repeatable and camera-ready stunt drivers who understand their vehicle, their environment and their responsibility on a professional film set.

With more than two decades of experience behind the wheel, Matty Taylor brings together an exceptional background in film and television stunt driving, live stunt shows, precision driving and competitive motorsport.

His screen credits include some of the biggest vehicle-action productions ever filmed, including Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Play Dirty, The Wrecking Crew, Monarch and Runner. Is there anyone he can't double? From Jessica Alba to Alan Ritchson, the possibilities are endless with such a chameleon.

On Mad Max: Fury Road, he spent six months on set as a stunt driver and was the lead driver of Cranky Franky. He returned to the Mad Max world for Furiosa, taking the wheel of Bad Bug as its lead stunt driver. On Maze Runner: The Death Cure, he worked as a Lead Stunt Driver and vehicle double for Barry Pepper.

His precision-driving experience also includes extensive commercial work for major automotive manufacturers including Mercedes-AMG, Isuzu Ute Australia and Jeep, where his work has required the ability to deliver accurate, repeatable vehicle performance specifically for camera, including precision driving for Jeep in the challenging terrain of the Himalayas.

Before bringing those skills to the screen, he developed an extensive background in live stunt driving at Warner Bros. Movie World's Hollywood Stunt Driver show, where he performed every driving role in the production and worked as a driving choreographer.

He has also performed nationally with the Isuzu Team D-MAX, including two-wheel driving and precision vehicle demonstrations in front of live audiences.

His skill set encompasses two-wheeling, drifting, precision and choreographed driving, vehicle jumps, rolls, crashes, wrecks and high-speed performance driving.

Beyond stunt driving, he is an accomplished competitive motorsport driver with experience across drifting, hill climbs and circuit racing, achieving multiple state and national round victories.

Importantly for SDC students, his understanding of vehicles goes much deeper than simply knowing how to drive them. With a Diploma in Motorsport Engineering and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, he combines practical stunt experience, technical vehicle knowledge and professional teaching skills.

As an SDC Lead Stunt Driving Instructor, his focus is not simply on teaching impressive manoeuvres. Warren Luff brings an extraordinary depth of professional driving experience to the SDC instructor team, with a career spanning more than three decades across elite motorsport, stunt driving, precision driving and professional driver training.

Born into a family synonymous with advanced driver education, Warren is the son of renowned Australian driver training instructor Ian Luff. Driving, vehicle dynamics and understanding what happens at the limit of a car's performance have been part of Warren's life from an early age.

Warren began competing in motorsport in the early 1990s before progressing through Australian Super Touring and making his V8 Supercars debut in 1999. What followed was an extensive professional racing career that has seen him become one of Australia's most experienced and respected endurance co-drivers.

Across his Supercars career, Warren has accumulated 130 race starts, 3 victories and 11 podium finishes, competing alongside some of the biggest names in Australian motorsport.

Among the highlights was victory at the 2012 Sandown 500 alongside Craig Lowndes, followed by a podium at the iconic Bathurst 1000 that same year.

Warren and Lowndes went on to win the inaugural Pirtek Enduro Cup in 2013, before Warren claimed the title for a second time in 2015 alongside Garth Tander, becoming the first driver to win the Enduro Cup twice.

His success extends well beyond Supercars. Warren is a multiple Australian motorsport champion, including back-to-back titles in the Australian Mitsubishi Mirage Cup in 1999 and 2000 and the Brute Utes series in 2002 and 2003, along with extensive experience across a diverse range of racing categories and vehicles.

But racing is only one part of Warren's driving career.

Alongside motorsport, Warren has developed extensive experience as a stunt driver, precision driver and professional driver training instructor, giving him a unique understanding of the differences between driving for outright performance and driving specifically for film and television.

That distinction is incredibly valuable at SDC.

A racing driver is trained to find the fastest possible way around a circuit. A stunt driver needs to understand something different: timing, positioning, repeatability, proximity, choreography, communication and delivering exactly what the camera needs, take after take.

Warren brings the disciplines of both worlds together.

His understanding of vehicle dynamics, weight transfer, braking, throttle control, vision and car placement allows students to develop a deeper understanding of not just how to perform a driving manoeuvre, but why the vehicle behaves the way it does.

As an SDC Lead Driving Instructor, Warren brings decades of knowledge from operating vehicles at their limits and, just as importantly, decades of experience teaching others how to develop those skills safely.

Karl Van Moorsel is an internationally experienced Stunt Coordinator, Stunt Performer and specialist stunt driver whose career has taken him across some of the biggest action films in the world.

He is an active member of Stunts Unlimited, a world record holder for the most rolls on camera, and a member of MEAA, SAG and DGA, working as a second unit action director.

With more than 90 stunt credits across film and television, Karl has built an exceptional career both behind the wheel and behind the action, progressing from stunt performer and specialist driver into senior roles coordinating complex vehicle and stunt sequences.

His credits include major productions such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Suicide Squad, Red Notice, Extraction, Twisters, Borderlands, Venom: The Last Dance, Superman and The Wrecking Crew.

Karl's experience in vehicle action is extensive.

On The Suicide Squad, Karl served as Stunt Driving Coordinator, helping oversee the film's complex vehicle action. On Red Notice, he coordinated stunt driving for the Rome car chase unit, while on Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga he stepped into the role of Stunt Sequence Coordinator.

His work on Furiosa earned recognition with a Taurus World Stunt Award nomination for Best Stunt Coordinator and/or 2nd Unit Director, while his vehicle work on Mad Max: Fury Road was also recognised with a Taurus nomination for Best Work with a Vehicle.

As an SDC Lead Stunt Driving Instructor, Karl brings students something that extends well beyond learning how to control a car.

He understands stunt driving from the perspective of both the performer receiving the instruction and the coordinator responsible for designing the sequence.

That experience provides an invaluable insight into what a Stunt Coordinator actually needs from the person sitting behind the wheel: the ability to listen, understand the intent of the action, communicate clearly, hit a mark, work safely around other performers and vehicles, adapt when circumstances change and repeat the required action consistently for camera.

Karl's career has been built around performing and coordinating action at the highest level, and he brings that real-world experience directly into the SDC training environment.
